8th Grade GradVenture at Universal Studios

Our 8th graders will celebrate the end of middle school with an unforgettable night at Universal Studios Orlando for GradVenture! This exclusive event gives students access to both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, complete with thrilling rides, live entertainment, and a meal voucher. It’s a night of fun, friends, and memories as we mark this milestone before high school.

CFMS 8th Grade GradVenture Waitlist Form

All 200 available tickets for the CFMS 8th Grade GradVenture field trip on Friday, May 1, 2026, have been sold. Families who still wish for their student to attend may join the official GradVenture Waitlist using the link below.

Students on the waitlist will be contacted in the order submissions are received if a ticket becomes available.

Important Information for Families

  • Joining the waitlist does not guarantee a ticket.
  • If a spot becomes available, payment must be submitted immediately to secure the ticket.
  • A late fee will be added to the original GradVenture ticket price for all waitlist admissions.
  • The school may be able to secure a 5th bus for the trip; however, this requires a minimum of 48 additional students committing to purchase a ticket.
  • Students must meet all behavior and eligibility requirements to participate.
  • Families must be able to pick up their child at 2:00 AM when the group returns to CFMS.

CFMS 8th Grade GradVenture Waitlist

All students attending GradVenture on May 1, 2026 will receive an official GradVenture T‑shirt.
✨ The shirt is included in the cost of your GradVenture ticket — there are NO extra charges.

Please complete this form to select your correct T‑shirt size.

🔍Important — Choose Your Size Carefully!

  • GradVenture is still a few months away, so you may grow between now and May.
  • Once the school places the T‑shirt order, no changes can be made.
  • There will be no size swaps, no exchanges, and no re‑ordering.
  • Ask your parent/guardian to help you choose the best size.
  • Consider selecting a size that gives you a little room to grow.

  • This form is restricted to students only.

CFMS GradVenture 2026 – Friend Preference Form

As part of our planning for the 8th Grade GradVenture field trip on May 1, 2026, students may list the friends they would prefer to be grouped with. Groups will be created by the GradVenture coordinators based on student preferences, behavior considerations, bus capacity, and final numbers.

Important Information

  • Students will rank up to 5 friends they would like to be grouped with.
  • Listing fewer than 5 is okay.
  • All friend selections must be current CFMS 8th graders.
  • Friend preferences must be mutual for the strongest chance of pairing.
  • Coordinators will do their best to honor requests, but no specific groups are guaranteed.
  • Final groups will be locked by April 1st, and no changes will be made after the deadline.
  • Groups may be adjusted or combined to ensure 10 students per group.

CFMS GradVenture 2026 – Friend Preference Form

Trip Details

  •  Date: Friday, May 1, 2026
  •  Leave CFMS: 1:00 PM
  •  Return: Around 2:00 AM on Saturday, May 2nd.

Cost & Payment

  • Price: $215 (includes park ticket, bus, meal voucher, and Gradventure T-shirt)
  • Pay by: Cash, check, money order (to CFMS), or online credit card
  • Note: Universal Annual Passes are not valid for this event.

Ticket Sales – In Person and Online

  • Dates: February 3–5
  • Where: CFMS lobby before school or online
  • Limit: First 200 eligible 8th graders
  • Refunds: No refunds unless another student purchases a vacant spot.
  • Use of Funds: Any remaining funds will support 8th grade activities and assist students in need.

To reserve a spot, students must:

  1. Buy a ticket
  2. Turn in signed Acknowledgement Form
  3.  Turn in signed Permission Slip

 

Eligibility

  • Be among first 200 students
  • No more than 3 detentions/referrals after Jan. 5
  • Minimum 2.0 GPA for 3rd quarter
  • No more than 10 unexcused absences/tardies after Jan. 5
  • Attend school on May 1
  • Follow CFMS & Universal dress codes

Dress Code

  • Required: Gradventure T-shirt
  • Allowed: Jeans, khakis, shorts (fundamentally appropriate length), comfortable shoes, small bags
  • Not Allowed: Short shorts, leggings, tank tops, chains, large backpacks

Other Info

  • Phones/cameras allowed (student responsibility)
  • CFMS staff will chaperone
  • Parents interested in chaperoning: complete online form Feb. 3–5
  • Medications must be handled by school staff
  • Early dismissal requests due by April 3

Chaperones

  • CFMS staff will serve as chaperones.
  •  Parents or guardians interested in chaperoning must complete the online interest form Feb 3–5.
  • District-approved Level 2 volunteers will be contacted if needed.
